We love Bianca Road so much that we serve exclusively their beer on tap. Based round the corner in one of the beer mile arches, founder and owner Reece regularly whizzes over on his bike to drop off our orders himself. He also helped us install our draft, and we've traded his beanies for our tote bags. Local love <3 and a mini barter economy, yahoo!
Origins
Bianca Road was born after founder Reece quit his engineering job and set off on a cycling trip around the USA. Already a keen home brewer, he planned his 6,000km route around both national parks and the country's best breweries.
Bianca Road opened its doors in 2016.
Their beer
Bianca Road stock a core range and swap in seasonal specials specialise in hoppy pale ales and lagers. They also make a mean fruity IPA, in our humble opinion.
Elsa's fave: ¡Sabroso!
"I - not usually an IPA drinker - love this one. It's a reliable one to recommend to both experienced and uninitiated craft beer drinkers, as it's packed full of different flavours (sabroso means tasty in Spanish). Malt, fruitiness and a touch of coconut... There's a lot to try and pick out. And it's got a gorgeous can to boot."
Ethics
Bianca Road are committed to brewing in the most sustainable way possible. They therefore use exclusively renewable energy, package in cans not bottles and don't use any plastic.
